Publisher's summary

Welcome to Kennedy Fox Bedtime Reads! Steamy love stories you can listen to in one sitting! After everyone goes to bed for the night, snuggle up with a Kennedy Fox Bedtime Read! These are fast-paced, full-length standalone novels that are filled with humor and insta-lust, but still have everything you love about a Kennedy Fox book.

Never trust a man who answers the front door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk. That should've been my first sign. I write about guys just like him for a living - sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic f--kboy. And I want nothing to do with that.

Writing romance novels comes with its perks - traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head - but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges all my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you. One week is all it took. One week to realize that not everything is as it seems.

One week with the bad boy, and I wanted more.

This book was purely sex on a stick!

Holy tahiti man! This book was purely sex on a stick! So I'm gonna give it to ya strait! This is a completely insta-love type of book. So while it might not be a realistic story, it was a fantastic non-fiction book! I loved Ethan. He was super sweet and utra sexy! The analogies he threw out upon meeting Vada. I seriously hooted out laughter several times!

Now, with this being an audio book I feel like got more feelings out of it. The narrators CJ Bloom and Joe Arden were seriously fantastic! That southern drawl that Joe portrayed was great! I loved CJ's different tones. These narrators did a superb job and making their listeners feel the emotion in the book... even if most of it was horngry! ;)

Hot, but sad, but sweet and then hot again!

I LOVED THIS AUDIOBOOK!

First off, Joe Arden with a slight southern twang? Yes, please. CJ Bloom was great as her character, too! Just really perfect choices on the narrators here.
As for the story, WOW, I was not expecting it to be to be what it was. I thought this book would be equivalent to a quickie, if you know what I mean. And I did finish it quickly, but it had much more depth than I was expecting. Ethan's back story literally made me tear up and Vada was a strong heroine that I really respected. Their chemistry level was off the charts, but they also had a lot of humor and then some seriousness between them. LOVED IT!

Good... but not my Favorite by KFox

I've become quite the Kennedy Fox junkie over the last year or so and have been dipping into their backlist. I might have dipped a little too far with this one. Make Me Forget (formerly Falling for the Bad Boy) is one of their earliest books and I feel like it shows. While I enjoyed the overall story well enough, I never felt super connected like I have with their more recent releases. Ethan's double entendres felt too forced and were used too often. And this is a me thing, but one of my least favorite plot tropes was employed. The one where a main character (usually the female lead) listens to someone else (who obviously has ulterior motives) and trusts their word over their partner's. Why? You have no reason to believe this person, and instead of doing the logical, adult thing like talking to your partner, you take off and end things. Ugh. Not a fan of the whole miscommunication/lack of communication thing. Not when the whole conflict could have solved by one conversation.

Anyway, this was enjoyable enough on audio (thumbs up for Joe Arden) but definitely not my favorite from Kennedy Fox.

Bad Boys

Vada rents a cottage from Ethan. she wasn't expecting the hot guy who answered the door to be the owner.
I liked the premise of the book of an author needing to get away to clear her writers block. I also enjoyed the chemistry between Vada and Ethan.
CJ Bloom and Joe Arden really brought the characters to life in this book.

I fell for Ethan!

I definitely fell for Ethan in this one. His smooth attitude, naughty sense of humor, and suggestive conversation had me from the beginning! I loved his ability to make any conversation naughty and his unapologetic and honest mannerism, in spite of the extreme tragedy in his past. I love a bad boy who works with this hands, knows how to sweet talk a lady, and takes flirting to a whole new level. Pair that with a strong female character who is up for an adventure and you have a great love story!

Narration by CJ Bloom and Joe Arden is excellent, as always! These are two of my favorites and both delivered a great performance in this swoonworthy story. There is some tragedy and their performances really delivered all of the feels.

Definitely worth the credit!

Stella Bloom

I love your regular voice. The one you use narrating by Reaper’s property and Kristen Ashley. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve canceled the audiobook when using this voice. You are worth the money. Trust me!

narrators good but storylines not so good

I think this story is a little bit boring I was wondering when it was finished when I got just over halfway through but I always loved the narrators that are reading the story I usually follow them more than the people writing the stories although this author has done good books in the past this isn't one of them

Wow

This book was so much fun to read. The banter between the characters gave me a chuckle or two. Both fighting past hurts, but in the end their love was too strong.
Narration was awesome too.
