Beautiful back country love Story!

This is a sexy story - old childhood friends fall in love! Sweet n sexy! Lots of turns and intrigue.... a few THRILLING part too! Ahh - Great listen! I would recommend! - Namaste!

It is more amazing in audio!

The audiobook was even more so captivating than the ebook only because Joe Arden and Vanessa Edwin made me feel EVERYTHING. I went from the ebook straight to the audiobook. I didn’t want their story to end and the experience of listening to it made their journey that much more… wow. I highly recommend both the ebook and audiobook, heck, any version you can get your hands on it worth it.

A steamy small town romance

This is book 2, Calder and Hadley’s story. It was emotional, a little angsty, but also heartwarming with lots of steamy romance and a bit of mystery. Hadley is such a strong woman and caring and the perfect match for Calder. She lives her life the way she wants without apology to anyone. And I love that Calder doesn’t want to change her. I love his precocious twins too. They were adorable but very observant of everyone and everything around them.

I enjoyed listening to Vanessa Edwin and Joe Arden performance their respective parts. They both did a fantastic job! I felt all the emotions.

I am definitely loving this series and the best part is knowing there are lots more books coming.

An excellent story and listen

I know I’m going to love a Catherine Cowles book before I even start it. She hasn’t let me down yet.
Falling Embers is a friend to lovers, single dad, all my favorites.
Hadley is feeling smothered by her moms over protectiveness, ever since her sister was kidnapped things have in their house have changed, no parties, no sleepovers, no fun. Hadley is miserable until Calder shows her how to let all her energy free.
Years later Hadley is living 2 lives one as a paramedic and one as an extreme sport, with her own channel but she doesn’t have Calder to share it with any more. Calder has twin girls who he almost lost once so now he wants to play life safe.
I loved this story, the family dynamics, how one moment can change everything, watching the 2 come together and of course the suspense factor.
Catherine Cowles books have you wanting to absorb every word yet wanting you to speed through it, such the dilemma of a great book.

Falling For Calder & Hadley

This book is magic. The perfect combination of engaging plot, loveable characters and the ideal narrators to bring it all to life. Joe and Vanessa are splendid as Calder & Hadley. Their voices mesh well together. Voices alone can't make a 5 star review and that is where the ever talented Catherine Cowles knocks it out of the park. Calder is the perfect mix of protective and vulnerable while Hadley is far from your typical damsel in distress. They are so well written that I felt like I actually knew them (as well as Calder's adorable daughters). Don't start this book if you don't have time to finish it fairly quickly because you won't want to put it down!
