Entertaining and Enjoyable Read

This is an entertaining and enjoyable story. The characters are great and the storyline is fascinating. I was hooked from the start. Recommendable book and I look forward to reading/listening to more from Kinney.

Fallen

Let me start by saying I haven't read/listened to the first book but I wasn't lost at all. This story is wonderfully written with multiple plots twists and enough quirky characters to keep me interested and wanting book 1 now! The narrating is well paced and Lisa Lynn Sandlin voiced it so well. The love story between Lucien and Isabel is both sweet and tragic, will he overcome the curse and get to keep him this time? Read/listen and see, recommend!

Fallen Angel!

This is the second book in the Everwood Falls Series, a cozy mystery and vampire paranormal romance. Lucien and Isabel's story is captivating, filled with action, danger, and twists and turns. This is an epic love story, and second chance romance. The world building is fascinating. Lisa Lynn Sandlin did a good job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Reincarnation

Book 2 of the Everwood Falls series, paranormal romance. Excellent job, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. Do you believe in reincarnation? Lucien has been in love with Isabel for over 2000 years. Each time he finds her again, something happens, and she dies. He has vowed to stay away, in hopes she would not die. Nothing ever works, and he is doomed to repeat this pattern. Isabel is in danger and Lucien feels he must step in to save her. This could trigger events where she dies again. Kat did an excellent job with world building. SO much information is conveyed without a data dump being needed to set the stage. Excellent story, which I found completely engaging. I can’t wait for book 3 on audio. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Loved this book.

I absolutely love Kat Kinney's writing, and enjoyed this audiobook. Isabel and Lucien's story is so sweet. Lucien is a fallen Angel who has been cursed to keep falling for Isabel, and she has to keep dying due to the curse. Isabel is a vampire this time around. I love that all her books have cats or dogs and how they interact.
