Cute Cozy Fantasy in a Charming Town

Even though this is book three in the series, I didn't feel like I was out in the dark not having read the first two. It says it can be read as a standalone and I agree.
This was a cute cozy fantasy in the charming small town of Everwood Falls. Sage, a green witch, is sent there (banished actually) because she can't control her super duper powers. Gideon is a merman and half siren. They team up to find out who is behind the attacks of witches and sirens. Of course, as promised, there was a HEA.
I deducted one star for pacing. It slowed down in the middle and then speed up at the end so I felt like she rushed the end to tie everything up.
The narration was good. I did listen at a faster speed because she has a very sultry voice. ;)
