Good entertainment for Young Adults

I chose thisBook from the children and teens section of an ongoing sale. It gives one man’s perspective of the Vietnamese war. Although he is African American I don’t think he was representing African Americans in general. The story is laden with profanity and I don’t that is a good learning experience for children therefore I rated the story with 3 stars.

Great read to understand the perils of Vietnam

This book was perfect for helping me understand what the boys/men in Vietnam went through. The characters and their stories felt so real to me. I could not imagine being 18 years old and sent off to fight in this war. The book will intrigue you, make you laugh, and also make you cry.

Great Book! The Narrator is great!

This book is great by itself from its action packed story to lots of sad losses this book has it all. The narrator is also great he does very good voices to accommodate the story. Overall this audio book is great and it is a must read.

One of the classics!

This book had everything there was action, drama, and brotherly love. The book gave an inside look at what goes through the hearts and minds of soldiers when they are in battle and the close bonds that they make that can never be broken.

Great story from my youth.

I loved this book as a teen. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.

Good But Not For Me

This book was very good but the reason I gave the rating that I gave is because I found it hard to focus while reading .

Definitely not for your teenage grandson!

This book was recommended for teenage boys, so I found it and added it to my Kindle my grandson 14 years old likes to read on my Kindle from time to time. I listened to this book 1st it’s a good thing I did, this is not for a teenage boy. The language is awful!
I tried contacting customer service and Audible no way. I tried contacting Amazon customer service to see if I could exchange the book, nope no way. All I can say is if you want a good adventure for your 14-year-old grandson, this is not the book!
