this was good

I listened to all 3 books, the first and the third were excellent the second one not so much. I liked this book because the MC were well written. I thought that although Lori Prince was excellent she didn’t choose the correct voice for the ice queen…

Fear shouldn't hold you back

While the first two in this series were age gap, we don't know the age difference in this one, as it is not mentioned except for the age of the Ice Queen.

Some reviews say there is no character development, which of course there isn't much as these are shorter stories.

My only problem with the whole series thus far is why do the so-called Ice Queens have to hurt the other person so deeply before they realize that they don't want to lose that person?

Shallow

It's like the author got drunk, watched Pretty Woman and Devil Wears Prada back to back, then stayed up all night writing. The grammar and so forth is fine. But the story is just a race from one scene to another without ever really stopping to give character dynamics or even perspective. Lacks any real depth. I'm about halfway in and have yet to get to know, or care about, either of the characters.

Narration was amazing

Story was ok but rushed. Felt like a deadline was looming and boxes were checked. this had the potential to be great.

skipped the character development

It was all key frames and few moments of how the characters got from one state to another. It was super confusing.
