Publisher's summary

Last night, I tried to drink away my feelings for my brother's best friend.
Today, I’m riding across a dangerous, desert wasteland with him.

Like my parents years ago, gods have chosen me for a sacred mission. You’d think the daughter of an infamous motorcycle club would be able to handle it. But when Torrance Knight steps up to make the ride with me, I’m both relieved and dreading the journey.

He’s my brother’s best friend, and pure sin wrapped in a tall, leather package. I’ve been in love with him for years, but he’s too busy breaking the heart of every girl in town to notice me, let alone return my feelings.

I have to protect my heart on this journey while also pretending to be his wife. Not only that, I have to focus on our mission. We’re riding into danger that could rival the collapse of my parents’ generation. And if we don’t make it home, can I summon the courage to tell him how I feel?

Even worse, how do I handle being in love with him, surviving this task, and also falling for someone new?

I don’t know what these vengeful gods have in store for me, but I can’t afford to be faithless.

Vengeful Gods MC is a dystopian whychoose/reverse harem series with fantasy elements. This series takes place in the same world as Steel Demons MC and Their Property: Sons of Odin MC.

Great start to this spinoff!

Audiobook review (6/18/23):

I appreciated we got new narrators for the kids of the SDMC. I think if Troy did the guys in this one I would be a little weirded out. I mean I love him, he is in my top 5 narrators of all time, but he will forever be Jandro, Reaper, Shadow, and Gunnar. The female narrator did a good job, she I thought brought the toughness from Rory’s upbringing and her dads and the vulnerability of being a young woman in a dire situation with some hotheaded men haha. I loved the accents the male narrators did, I loved Santos and then appreciated Torr’s gruffness. I thought the clashes/battles were done well. The snarky and sketchy moments (with regards to the bad ladies and the guards and the funny moments with Rory and Torr haha). I loved the maid/helper of Rory, she was sweet and the performances were done perfectly for her (I hope she doesnt turn out a spy/bad one too!). I would give the narration 4.5 stars, cannot wait to listen to the next one when it’s out on audio 😊

Original ebook review:

I am so happy to be back in the Steel Demons MC world again!! I was (ok am sorta still) obsessed with Mari and her men and all the awesome side characters this author gave us. I never wanted that series to end and loved the spinoff standalone and was so happy when I saw we were getting one of Mari and the guys' kids in on the action with the gods, missions, and finding their own happiness in the same culture that Reaper's family did (i.e. RH). I loved getting to have some air time with the original characters (them as parents made my heart squeeze and my smile go nuclear). Loved the cameos and mentions of other characters (I will say I was confused with the cousin remark and feel like I need to go back to book 10 and see if I missed some connection - or maybe book 2 will help bridge that gap when that comes out).

I will say that I am not in love with Rory as much as I was Mari (didnt connect as much as I instantly did with her), but I think that just comes with time and she has a lot of growing up to do in this series. I loved Santos and his god, I wanted to knock sense into Rory and Torr, not gonna lie hahaha. Like at one point I was yelling at my kindle haha. I also am not sure about the dove god. I am interested to see who is going to be part of Rory’s harem with a couple people mentioned, it will be a mystery who gets in and who doesn’t haha. I did appreciate the big hint from Shadow in his goodbye, helped bridge the gap with who the baddies are and was confirmed once Torr and Rory got to their destination. I cannot wait for them to bring the fire and destruction. I hope we get more cameos in the upcoming books as well ❤️
