Outstanding narration

The narrator deserves an award for a job well done!! She made the books come alive… to bad book 5-8 are not on audio

Easy to follow along

I loved the different voices she did for each character. It really helped me to better follow along with the storyline. The expressions, the word choice, and the fluxuation of the tone kept me hooked, intrigued, and emotionally connected to the characters throughout the series. Great listen!

If you like cartoon voices...

Loved the story... I was very irritated and annoyed throughout the story with the whiny cartoon voices. The voices would be perfect for My Little Pony, not adult characters.

Everything sounds dramatic, even if it is a simple description.

The story is well-written and I should have stuck with reading the Kindle version instead.

Ignore the bad reviews!!

I had to write a review because the negative reviews dont do it justice. I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews. This was a great series. Adventure, magic, mystery, romance, and more it hits so many wickets. No regrets. I will be looking for more of this authors books. The speaker does a great job differentiating between characters with her voice it is NOT childishly cartoony.

I really really enjoyed this 3 book set!

The names, cultural experiences, and characters are so interesting and well developed!

My husband and I lived in Turkey for 3 years so some of the cultural pieces and city names even were similar enough to Turkish that it was fun to see how they wove them into the world of Folkshore!

I hope they continue to release the rest of the books in this series on audible!!

captivating and fun

it was really interesting to hear the story of Aladdin in the perspective of a girl. it was a very good story to listen to and would be one that I would listen to again. the romance and love was sweet and true.

Lucy tempest has a way of giving you pieces of stories that you know so that you have an idea of what is happening but also being delightfully surprised by the story. I find the characters engaging in front of you to know and how all of their lives tangled up together to complete the story is just *chef's kiss*. At times I found myself so frustrated with their choices it was realistic for the characters that they are. I am excited to read all of her other books that are based off of side characters in this series. unfortunately there are no audiobooks of those yet.
