But treachery is a capital offense to the CCP and PLA, and it never goes unpunished.

Ryan Adams, a meteorologist at a Bend, Oregon TV station and a self-taught Christian apologist, said he’d give his right arm for a reliable source of info on China’s bioweapons program. He might get his wish, but it could cost him more than just his right arm.

Set in Wuhan, China, Hong Kong, Oregon, and Colorado, Facing the Darkness is a clean medical thriller that paints a picture of the cost of Facing the Darkness.

His stories are always good and narration added and brought the detail of the story out of which I enjoyed. Given audio for my voluntary review

Excellent series!

I loved the book, which I read before I listened to the audiobook. The plot is fast moving and well written! H L Wegley has become one of my favorite modern authors.

If a man reading and trying to mimic an Asian woman's voice bothers you, I'd suggest reading rather than listening to the audio. But otherwise it is excellent.

I purchased the kindle book, but received a free copy of the audio in exchange for my honest opinion.

Exciting medical thriller

This book is a suspenseful medical thriller with a thread of light romance and faith and God’s forgiveness. Some characters return from prior books, but this can be read as a stand-alone or as the first in the Against the Darkness trilogy, which is very good as are all of Wegley’s books!
Although I had read the kindle version previously, I jumped at the chance to listen to the first audio version of one of his books. It did not disappoint! I really enjoyed listening and picked up on more detail than when reading it. It grabs your attention right away and doesn’t let go, just like a good thriller should do! R. E. Garter did a good job narrating and changed up voices for the different characters. I used 1.2x speed. I look forward to more audios from this author! I received an Audible code from the author with no strings attached.

Facing the darkness

I wanted to like this book more. I found it very slow going and too religious. I didn’t catch much of a story line.Narration was ok. I was given this book free for an honest review.
