Definitely F*cked Up!

Whether it's kings that want to marry their own daughters or mollusk-women who treat their husband's dinner like it's a squatty potty, there's something weird, gross, bawdy, or murderous here for everyone - well, everyone that likes their fairy tales to be a little f*cked up that is. I especially liked having different narrators from the various story's cultures. It adds to the richness of the listening experience. Don't let the kiddos listen until you do though.

As a long-time fan of the Cosbrarian, I can tell you this audiobook is EVERYTHING I've been waiting for! It's like Liz took all the chaotic, hilarious energy from her TikToks, and supercharged it. Hearing these wild, twisted tales brought to life by a full cast of narrators is an absolute treat. They completely nail the dark humor and the "wait, that actually happened?!" vibe of the original stories.

​This isn't just a retelling; it's like listening to your smartest, funniest friend spill all the glorious, messed-up tea on fairy tales from around the world. If you love her work, this is a must-listen. It's an instant favorite!

Entertaining and laugh out loud

Ms. Gotauco -- in hopes you'll see this, there is an error in the audio where you and the narrator repeat the same aside about striking a demon twice in 'Mule Be in My Heart."

Anyway, this book rules. If you're not Ms. Gotauco, you should buy it.
