Publisher's summary

Black magic threatens humanity with Extreme Liquidation. The only thing preventing occultist Aleister Crowley from ascension is reincarnation. Trapped in human form again, he's manipulating political events to bring about the End Times and achieve what he believes to be his true destiny. FBI Agent Caitlin Diggs has a secret gift that could stop him, but Crowley's no ordinary enemy. He knows something she doesn't, and tampers with her ability, twisting it to serve his own agenda. Will she uncover the truth in time to save all mankind?

Pretty Great Blend of Genres

This book picks up where the first book leaves off. While this is 'sci-fi' it has a variety of elements from other genres to where anyone can listen to it and enjoy which is great for someone like me who has a hard time getting through sci-fi books. Caitlin Diggs is a really strong female character this is easily likeable. This author gave a well written story that kept me wanting to know what happens next.

I didn't like this narrator as well as in the first book, but I thought they still gave a great performance. I would have liked the performance much more if the narrator between the first book and this book had been the same. Once you start a character with one voice, it is hard to readjust with a new narrator; this is nothing against the narrator, just a personal preference for the narrator to stay consistent throughout a series.

Great Second Book!

Book 2 of the Caitlin Diggs series brings the reader into the story right away. It's a well-written intense thriller as Diggs tries to stop her enemy, an enemy of humankind. Diggs has to focus on the new case, after a prominent suicide, but she still is dealing with her lover's death. It's a form of black magic that waves its powers the humans, and Diggs needs to stop it. This book was gripping from the first chapter, and it led me all the way to the end, in almost one sitting. I love a story where it makes sense with the mixture of thriller, suspense and hint of sci-fi. Starta is the author to keep an eye on, as his stories make a great impact.

Extreme Liquidation

I found this to be a really good follow up to book 1.Caitlin is back and trying to stop Crowley and Black Magic from ending the world 'as we know it'.They just want it to be for them, not regular people. David Reimer was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Extreme Liquidation

This is a fantastic mystery definitely a must listen. I love mystery reads and this one definitely has a fantastic story, the Author and Narrator has brought a fantastic story to fruition. It's a real Page Turner especially with how the Narrator brings out the Characters and the scenes are brought out so well as well. I definitely recommend this listen

Good story but not a good performance

This was a book that I think I would have liked a lot better if I had read it rather than listening to it. I like Diggs and the story line but it was hard to listen to. The narrator talked so slow and even it came out as being very monotone. I increased the speed to by 25% and it made it better but didn't fix it. I'm going to listen to the other Caitlin Diggs books and hope for another good story and hopefully a better performance.
