Inspirational!
Even after watching the series twice I felt enthralled by the tales told here. To have them read by the author felt like he was in the same room casually recounting a first hand account over a brew.

Adventure comes in the most awesome of forms
An absolutely gripping account of a sequence of expeditions, each as challenging and inspiring as the last. This book/audiobook just shows how many different forms adventure can be found; how little we have explored our planet and just how powerful nature can be!
Having only known a small part of the Bhutan expedition from my friend Sal when she returned; Steve writes an excellent account of that particular descent and I have a huge amount of respect for the dedication that him and all members of the team put into sharing these moments of awesomeness with us all! Highly recommend buying this book!

Boring
It promised so much and delivered so little. Really admire the man and his enthusiasm of life and adventure, but as an Audible narrative, just dull and never really got exciting. My opinion of course.

Raw and Real detail of the expedition’s
Everyone likes to watch the how they made it after programmes like planet earth etc, but that never truly relays the lengths they have to go to
Steve captures this perfectly, and the detail of each expedition carries through his narrative and what challenges had to be overcome
