Publisher's summary
Every Breath: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!
Get swept up in an epic romance from the number one New York Times best-selling author of The Notebook, a heartbreaking love story spanning decades and continents - from North Carolina to Zimbabwe.
Hope Anderson is at a crossroads. At 36, she's been dating her boyfriend, an orthopedic surgeon, for six years. With no wedding plans in sight, and her father recently diagnosed with ALS, she decides to use a week at her family's cottage in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, to ready the house for sale and mull over some difficult decisions about her future.
Tru Walls has never visited North Carolina but is summoned to Sunset Beach by a letter from a man claiming to be his father. A safari guide, born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tru hopes to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding his mother's early life and recapture memories lost with her death. When the two strangers cross paths, their connection is as electric as it is unfathomable....but in the immersive days that follow, their feelings for each other will give way to choices that pit family duty against personal happiness in devastating ways.
EVERY BREATH explores the many facets of love that lay claim to our deepest loyalties - and asks the question, How long can a dream survive?
Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

Folly Beach, South Carolina, has survived despite hurricanes and war. But it's the personal battles of Folly Beach's residents that have left the most scars, and they are why a young widow has been beckoned there to heal her own. To most people, Folly Beach is simply the last barrier island before reaching the great Atlantic. To some, it's a sanctuary for lost souls, which is why Emmy Hamilton's mother encourages her to buy a local bookstore, Folly's Finds, hoping it will distract Emmy from the loss of her husband.

Great story, HORRIBLE CONTINUOUS BACKGROUND MUSIC!
MAKE IT STOP!!! The background music goes on CONTINUOUSLY!!! NEVER STOPS!!! Even blocks out the reading somewhat. This is a nice story, typical Sparks, but the music is seriously obnoxious....

I found the background music and sounds very distracting!! I’m not sure I liked two different narrators. Vanessa needed to soften her tone a bit and I loved Sean’s tone. Regardless it was a fabulous book!!

Heartbreaking and beautiful
I would have to say that this is one if the vest books I have ever read snd I will treasure the story for a long long time. Although my experience is very different, I will only say that I know how it feels to be”kindred spirits” with another soul. It’s life changing and the author expressed it perfectly

Great story but...
The story was excellent! I never expect less than that from Nicholas Sparks. However, there is background music in the entire book and often found it distracting or it was loud enough to muffle the words being read.
