absolutely amazing!!!

This book was absolutely amazing!!! Sooooo magical! It still had the cozy vibes from the first while upping the stakes just enough to leave me never wanting to put it down. I love seeing the characters grow together, and the mystery becoming more mysterious. I just absolutely love everything about this story, and I absolutely can't wait for the next!!

update: just finished a reread via audiobook in anticipation of the third book releasing soon! I absolutely adore this story so so so much! The audio is absolutely lovely as well!

The worldbuilding deepens in all the right ways, with new corners of the magical realm to explore and fresh layers of the national impact of the botany magical history and culture. I loved how the plot evolved naturally while also giving more spotlight to side characters who truly came alive.

But let’s talk about Briar and Callen. Their chemistry is pure magic. The romantic tension? Immaculate. The treehouse scene? Four words had me melting. It’s swoony, it’s tender, and it hits all the right notes!
