What's more exciting than a prison break? Frank Morris and John and Clarence Anglin escaped from Alcatraz in 1962 and have never been caught. Many authorities are certain they died crossing San Francisco Bay. Relatives claim they made it to Brazil. The theories of what happened to them are endless.

Find out the facts from people who dealt with the men and the case firsthand. This is one mystery you'll definitely want to solve.

I liked it followed what we saw at Alcatraz last year. Provided a unique perspective that supported the theories about the prison break.

Listened for free. Would have been disappointed had I paid for it. Story was fine.

Fine for free

This book was a very good listen for one that was less than 2 hours long. It was easy for me to follow (paired with a faint familiarity from the movie I watched several decades ago) and was a nice "change of pace" from the longer books I am constantly listening to.

Excellent!

• the narrator did a fine job. however, there's a "problem" with how the narration is edited: it keeps on pausing after each page. at first, it's bearable, but after a couple of pages in, i couldn't help but feel unnerved.

• some of the details provided conflict with those provided by other sources i've read/listened to regarding the infamous escape. but that's to be expected, i suppose, as all rely on secondhand information mostly.

Interesting but...
