very interesting and fun listening to

very good narration while they think of each other before getting together. interesting storyline.one word remaining so this is ut to place the review. now I have plenty of extra words.

I've heard this story and romance before

The erotica and relationship made this worth finishing. Everything else is incredibly cliche and sometimes cringe.
Its definitely a generic wealthier and more educated swoops up and captures some lowly bumpkin kinda story.

It came as a freebie listen with Audible + otherwise I probably wouldn't have picked this up.

I'm glad I did give it a shot though, I liked it. The Erotic moments were sexy. Can't say it was anything fresh and new for me though. I've heard this story before and I've heard this sorta romance before. The one thing that maybe was a little fresh was the BDSM.

I didnt like the BDSM approach though. It felt sorta forced against someone's will, like sexual harassment and slightly predatory. It was very one sided and it made me uncomfortable

Speeding up the narration to 2x made the narrator tolerable. I loved the narrators country accent.

Pretty Good

I enjoyed this romance and will be seeking out more books from this author. First time I've heard this narrator and he did a good job. Highly recommend.

DNF Not my Cup of Tea

Had no idea what to expect with this one. In the back of my head I was thinking it was going to be a perfectly pleasant romance of tense personalities clashing but then merging together. I was part right... BDSM cowboys... did not see that coming. The main guys were not great. One was borderline bullying the other into submission just off the possibility that he was into it. And the other was a dismissive know-it-all. — I am not into BDSM so that aspect was not compelling/interesting for me and with one guy doing nothing but belittling and aggressively agitating the other... it began to feel a little uncomfortable. I might continue it later on just to hear the ending but I am not sure I am ever going to like the characters. —— All that being said, I can understand why someone would enjoy this book and this approach to romance; I respect the stories validity. And while the lust through aggression and the arrogance in the face of dismissal could be your thing, it’s not mine.

I don’t know if it was the narrator or the story. But it just was not there for me. The sex was not Love, nor was it a hard on stories nor stormy. It was slow all around but not on a way I have to go on because it’s soo hot

Enjoyable!

I enjoyed this audiobook! The story is sweet, low angst, and steamy. The main characters appear to be polar opposites, but in fact fit each other perfectly. The narrator did a great job bringing the story and the characters to life.

First time reading m/m romance

The story was very I like the narrator he fit the type of story trying to be told I thought it was important!!

Omg loved loved loved this narrator such rich smooth voice & than bam husky Texas drawl sexy!!!!!! The story itself was good! Loved how they incorporated D/S-BDSM stuff but not super heavy on it very lovingly which was sweet & kinky at same time! The chemistry was there between the characters just slow at times pacing wise which is why the narrator really shinned because if I was just reading this would of no doubt skimmed fair share of this novel! Definitely recommend this AUDIOBOOK & will be listening/reading more from this narrator & author!!

Hot Like Burning

This book was hot. I'm not going to lie. And I really love the J.D. and Avery. It was really enemies to lovers and I'm always a sucker for that, also the BDSM on top that was fantastic. I didnt like the use of the words "sissy" and "real man" because it felt a tad toxic masculinity for me (and those type of men are real men) but overall it was a good book.
