Publisher's summary
Somehow, his hapless sister had begun a rumor that he was romantically attached to the penniless young woman, from an unheard-of and vulgar family, with whom duty and good sense forbade him from ever considering an alliance…but whose extraordinary wit and captivating eyes he had been entirely unable to banish from his thoughts.
Having returned to London in December 1811, Mr. Darcy is appalled to learn that Anne de Bourgh, his vexatious spinster cousin, has embarked on a journey to Hertfordshire to visit Miss Elizabeth Bennet. From her correspondence with his sister, Georgiana Darcy, he learns that Anne intends to rid Miss Elizabeth of any false hopes she may have of marrying him. His dismay quickly turns into alarm when Anne begins to insert herself into Hertfordshire society, even attending balls with the dastardly George Wickham.
Elizabeth Bennet finds herself intrigued by Miss Anne de Bourgh. After all, what sort of lady could ever meet the standards of the proud and fastidious Mr. Darcy? She soon comes to realize, however, that her understanding of their supposed engagement - and indeed of Mr. Darcy himself - is distinctly flawed.
As the cold days of December bleed into the new year, epiphanies abound for Elizabeth, Darcy, and even Anne, laying bare the machinations and desires of all those around them.

not a very good storyline
The only thing throughout the book is that Ann kept telling all that she and D are engaged. Going as far as to go to Longborne estate to make sure E knows it. As always D is struggling with E life situation, he over comes it eventually as always and Wickham is put in his place and Bingley and Jane gets together. Caroline needed to be put in her place a bit better than she was. Not worth purchasing. No romance at all

Cousin Lady Anne gets out of bed!!!
Due to a letter from Georgianna to Anne D’b, cousin Anne takes off for Herefordshire to confront Lizzy, sometimes we normally see from her mother. Of course, Lizzy has no clue what this is all about since the trip to Kent hasn’t happened. This results is a great deal of confusion, confessions, and dare I say, ephiphanies.

Harry Frost Narration is Spot On
The story was delightful - it had me laughing out loud. I especially enjoyed Henry Frost’s narration; it’s seems that P&P variations are often narrated in a mumbling style that screams ‘please, put me out of my misery’. I found Mr Frost’s characterizations enjoyable and his diction was perfect. Going forward, I will be looking for books narrated by Mr Frost.

Another AMAZING story from Jessie Lewis
If you love masterful dialogue and wordplay, this is your author!!! She is BY FAR one of my favorites of this genre. I don't even usually bother looking at a book if it is under 10 hours, but considering how much I've enjoyed this authors previous books I gave it a pass. I am so glad I did. If you love witty JAFF, just do yourself a favor and buy this. It is laugh out loud clever!
And no need to say this again because he is the best male narrator in the genre, Harry Frost was spectacular. ❤

Absolutely delightful!
I love Jane Austen’s books and especially Pride and Prejudice. I have read a lot of P&P fan fiction. Few people can successfully tell a story that is true to Jane Austen’s character’s and style. This story is wonderful. The banter between Darcy and Elizabethis clever, The story is romantic in a manner that is real and not contrived. Best of all was getting to know Anne De Bourgh. Her centrality within the story created real life, believable angst that made for a true to Jane, lovely story. I have read hundreds of P&P fanfiction. This is one of my top 3 favorites, if not my favorite!
Mr.Frost’s Darcy voice is as smooth and rich as velvet! His mastery of the feminine characters was spot on. I knew exactly which character was talking with the inflection of his voice. Brilliant! Thank you, Ms. Lewis for a most entertaining story.

Ms Lewis is one of my favourite authors and this story was, as always, worth waiting for - the narration by Harry Frost made it a perfect match.
I like the fact that no characters are perfect and none are quite awful - with the possible exception of Lady Catherine here!

Despairing of their own reunion, they attend with great energy to salvaging that of Darcy’s friend Mr. Bingley and Elizabeth’s sister Jane. Elizabeth Bennet dreads encountering Mr. Darcy when she visits Pemberley, for surely, after she spurned his offer of marriage, he must despise her. Yet they do meet, and to her astonishment, he holds no resentment towards her. Regrettably, someone else does. Unbeknownst to Elizabeth, her reintroduction to the master of Pemberley is far from universally welcomed. There are others for whom prejudice is stirred up by the familiarity between Miss Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy.

Story
A ride on a stormy day has disastrous consequences for Fitzwilliam Darcy, who finds himself grievously injured and bedridden–and with no memory of Elizabeth Bennet, the woman to whom he has been married for several years. Recovery is slow as his head injury has made it difficult for him to read and write, and a suspected fracture in his leg has made walking painful.

Story
A tempestuous acquaintance and disastrous marriage proposal makes it unlikely Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet will ever reconcile. Despairing of their own reunion, they attend with great energy to salvaging that of Darcy’s friend Mr. Bingley and Elizabeth’s sister Jane. People are rarely so easily maneuvered in and out of love, however, they follow a series of misunderstandings, both willful and unwitting, that complicates all four star-crossed lovers’ alliances more than ever before.

Story
Elizabeth Bennet dreads encountering Mr. Darcy when she visits Pemberley, for surely, after she spurned his offer of marriage, he must despise her. Yet they do meet, and to her astonishment, he holds no resentment towards her. Regrettably, someone else does. Unbeknownst to Elizabeth, her reintroduction to the master of Pemberley is far from universally welcomed. There are others for whom prejudice is stirred up by the familiarity between Miss Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy.
