Publisher's Summary

A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

Gabrielle Wilson has the perfect life: a Beverly Hills mansion, a loving family, and a massively successful PR firm. When her father admits that an affair he had years before resulted in a daughter, Gabrielle is shocked, but is actually happy. Could this be the sister she has been praying for all her life?

Keisha Jones' life is a struggle. Her late mother worked on the streets, and school was its own nightmare. When Gabrielle offers to fly Keisha out of Arkansas to meet the family, Keisha instantly agrees. But Gabrielle doesn't realize that Keisha has known about the Wilsons for years. Keisha is determined to have everything she has always envied and nothing can stand in her way.

Contains mature themes.

Great read

This was an awesome book. I became so emotionally invested in the storyline. There times when I was rooting for each character. However, there were times I couldn't stand that very same character. This was indeed an emotional rollercoaster.

This one was tough...I want my credit back

I usually like her books, but not this one. The story dragged slowly like finger nails on a chalk board. I really want my credit back. The story line was reasonable, but the characters personalities were over the top ridiculous. Both sisters were delusional in a "I need to be committed to a psyche ward" type of way. Because of that story line was predictable and ridiculous. I desperately want my credit back.

Very Interesting!

What a very interesting take on the difference between envy and jealousy! I especially like how the author took the time to build upon the main character’s reasoning for her envious feelings. She showed how envy can cloud one’s thinking, motivations, and actions. I would recommend this book to others as I loved the surprise ending!

Jealousy and Envy

"Often we confuse the two, but you must know the difference so you know what to prey... The two can not be fought in the flesh ,but it is a spiritual warfare. ENVY is between 2 people and JEALOUSY involves 3. Envy is a reaction to the lack of something.(You don't have what someone else has and you want it) Jealousy is the REACTION of loosing something you don't want to loose. (SOMETHING is usually SOMEONE!) Proverbs 14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones."

ENVY or JEALOUSY

This was one book I had to hurry and finish, just to see what Keisha would do next because of what she felt she deserved. I really enjoyed this one as well. Ms. Victoria has done it again with this book. Knowing that someone could be jealous of you and not even know you and to think they deserve your life. All Gabriel and their dad wanted to do was love her, but she had ulterior motives. The narration was great and was clear with every action and reaction. Looking forward to the next book in this series. Loved this!🤗

Loved it..!!

The narrator is absolutely AMAZING..!! Her voice is so engaging.. it pulls you into the story. The story line reminded me to be cautious about covetousness in my own heart and the importance of forgiveness. My toes were stepped on many times as I read this story.
