Wonderful !
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are interesting and I really liked them. I think the story is so different combining fantasy with a little sci-fi that it will really appeal to both kinds of readers. I recommend that anyone who loves either genre read this series. I am anxious to read the next book! I preordered it😀

Suspense and discovery
I really felt the characters, the way they survived and grew. The storyline was very engaging. I stayed in my car to keep listening instead of going into the house. Great performance from the voice actor.

The audio version of entitled teens
I liked the story continuity across the books. I did not like the lack of pragmatism from the two female leads. When they needed to speak up, they were silent. When silence was the better part of valor, they couldn’t stop flapping their lips. The lack of growth after each adversity conquered was astounding. The need for stories about female empowerment has been fulfilled.
