Absolutely thrilling!

This piece of art by Ian McEwan is one that shows his absolute dominance in narration and storytelling of modern literature.

Action literature

The novel has quite a lot of action for a "literary" work. Although the characters were interesting, none of them were at all likable, so it was hard to engage on an emotional level. The use of high-brow vocabulary and references were fitting to the protagonist's snobbishness, but also felt like the author showing off. The narration was (suitably) upper-crust, but this meant that, for me, it wasn't terribly pleasing to listen to. The recurring science references appealed to my geekish tendencies.

awesome story greatly written!

The book is written extremely well and the voice used for the recording makes it even better.

An excellent read!
