Pretty Good

I'm an Aerospace Engineer and a huge aviation/space nut. I was really looking forward to hearing about what it was like living in space for a year and what was learned. The stories that Scott told were interesting and some funny, but I was disappointed that only the epilogue was devoted to what was learned and it was literally an itemized list. I would have liked to hear more about the science that was performed as well rather than. How many times he fixed the CO2 scrubber. Overall though, I really enjoyed it. I especially liked learning how it was he became an astronaut as well as his experiences doing things like landing on carriers and performing space walks. As a narrator, Scott's voice is a little monotone and solemn sounding but not so much that it was hard to stay focused. Id recommend it.

Endurance is an absolutely outstanding listen! Having Scott Kelly do the read himself made it even better. Love the way he weaved his personal story in and out of the narrative of the endurance flight. I didn't want this book to end.

Terrific!

Honest, unfiltered, and informative for the engineer and the layman alike. He has a very unique perspective that can only be ascertained from this book.

Behind the scenes in the ISS

I enjoyed this book very much. Loved that it was read by the author. A little peak at what goes on behind the scenes. I’ve always wondered what life was like on the ISS, now I know.

Best book EVER!

I read a book a week (really.) This is the best book I’ve ever read! Adventure, education, and the best part-now I know about the ISS! I’m watching SpaceX with more interest and have a little more hope for humanity. The perfect book if recent politics get you down.

Special note: Scott Kelly explaining the ride in the Russian Soyuz is the real life Han Solo + Top Gun + James Bond, if there ever was such a thing. This man has balls.

first you have to hear the book to know what that means. I truly enjoyed the book, the first hand experience was well written, and the gravity of the experience was awesome. I'm glad I found this book.
