Publisher's Summary

You haven't seen naughty until your panties come off....

My client's younger sister is off-limits. Forbidden.

Getting my first big client signed to the NFL was the second best moment of my life. Escorting his sister back to her hotel was the first. Imagining what she would feel like, look like, taste like - none of it was as good as the real thing.

If her brother found out, it would destroy my career, so I ended things between us.

Eight years later, the girl who got away still owns me. First, I'll make her forgive me, and then I'm going to make her mine.

He's owned my body for far too long. It's been years since he touched me, and my skin still remembers every brush, stroke, and thrust. I want to forget how good it felt. Almost as much as I want to do it again.

We can't finish what we started until I make my confession. I have a secret - one that wasn't mine to keep.

You’ll enjoy this if you’re into self absorbed idiots; otherwise doing laundry is a better use of time.

I kept listening because I just couldn’t believe that this could be a real plot line. Let’s see the guy can’t resist her, has a one night stand, dumps her for his career and leaves her pregnant. Decided he wants her back 8 years later and she just goes along, finds out she has a kid and GETS PISSED AT HER?!? insist on a paternity test and she says “oh yes of course” what a load of garbage. Especially as we are supposed to view Samantha as a successful mother and business woman? Gaaahhhhh. They both sound like they are 15 no wait I know 15 year olds that show more self respect and respect for others. Well better luck next time with the unknown authors.

Give someone life altering news in a text-email? No way!!!

Story gets 3 stars. Performances were spot on, a 5. Overall the average comes to 4 stars.
I felt the author missed the mark in this story.
ANY life altering news (I’m calling off our engagement, I want to put a hold on the wedding plans, I’m pregnant, I’ve met someone) between adults (and yes, you are an adult at 19), should ALWAYS be given face to face or the very least thru a verbal conversation over the phone. What the H was blaming the h for was entirely on his shoulders.
The h tried multiple times via emails and text to tell the H she had to speak to him. You hear that H, the h had to SPEAK to you. A man with any conscience would have made at least one phone call.
Yes they both consented to a no strings attached sex-a-thon weekend and then both would walk away, because he was her pro football brothers agent and new in the business.
But, his all out tirade when he found out what she needed to tell him 8 years prior was a way over the top reaction.
Personally, I never felt that the H took full responsibility for the callous behavior he had towards their brief relationship.
I felt the author didn’t develop the hero into a mature male character. Instead the reader got an older version of when we first heard about him.
He said he would always feel angry she didn’t get the information to him 8 years previously. Buddy, get a mirror and yell and throw beer bottles at yourself. And by the way, I’ll never stop being angry at you for tossing me to the gutter so I had no recourse but to handle everything on my own because you were too selfish to pick up your phone!
And as for the h, when did she loose her spine? Repeatedly saying “I’m sorry” and crying while he has a temper tantrum and lays all the blame at your feet?
This is when she could have, should have told him a life changing event needs and deserves verbal contact. That his refusal to answer her pleas is what brought the H and h to the present situation. It’s all on him!

Sam Crowley

Overall the story is ok, however , predictable. This is most of the reason I read/listen to these books. Life has enough of the unpredictable.

Sam’s voice, even from the sample from Amazon, captivated me. He doesn’t sound like a seducteur. He sounded normal, sexy, and as I was listening to the sample of what would be my next book, I heard his voice and wanted it in my ear.

With that being said, Callie was not as appealing and I hated the beginning of chapters that started with her. She eventually pulled me back to the story but I couldn’t wait for “Jack” to speak again.

The story line was good, but again, the female character was weak. I do not normally like children in books, however, the author did a good job in bonding the father and daughter relationship.

Female Narration ruined this story for me

The story, while predictable, was relatively well-written. The female narration was a huge detractor. Enough so that I could not finish the story. Her voice for the h was whiny and nasal, and her voice for the H, was wretched. She spoke super-slow and over-enunciated every word. It was like she was trying to convey that he spoke in this sexy, seductive voice all the time. It was not great. Sam Crowley was awesome, and if he had done both parts, I would have totally finished it. His voice for Samantha was way more attractive than the female narrator's

Love this author, but not my favorite of hers.

I found the first half of this story hard to swallow. Difficult to believe. To the point I even laughed a bit. I powered through and was rewarded with lots of feel good moments in the 2nd half...even though I was still having a difficult time believing how everyone got there.

5 stars to Sam Crowley for his superb narration as always, no matter what name he uses.

Such a good listen, great second chance, forbidden romance

Endorsed is the 2nd book of The Agency Series and again Marni knocked it out of the park. Samatha a college student and the little sister of the newly signed NFL star represent by non other than Jack a sports agent. This forbidden romance turned into a three night fling with intense chemistry, push, pull, a sassiness and sexiness to this story kept me wanting more. 8 years later and this story is full of surprises, second chances, forgiveness, and a new found family. There was a roller coaster of emotions. Lucy was just the cutest ray of sunshine. So sweet and spunky. I loved getting updates on Brett and James and the whole gang. I read listened to this book. The narrators were Sam Crowley and Callie Dalton. This was my first listen to both of them, but they kept me interested and engaged.

Another great book in this series!

I was entranced with Samantha right from the start o this book. However, it took me awhile to warm up to Jack. Nonetheless, the narrators made me fall in love with both of them. Highly recommend this story.

I don't understand the girl

Samantha was an idiot, selfish, self-centered, and a doormat all rolled into one. If she wanted him back, why didn't she tell him they have a daughter. And if she was that hurt, why did she go back so easily? And after 3 days, 8 years before and you're in love? I don't get it.

Wow

I just loved this book. The strong emotions. The second chance at love. A love that had never died. This story was brilliant from beginning to end.
Narration was awesome.
