I totally identified with EVERYTHING Danni shared. She is brave.I don't think I could bare my soul like that. Especially the chapter where she talked about crying in front of her kids. I literally said out loud "This is me!"

Amazing Book!
I met Ms. Danni Starr at a buy melenin expo on 4/20. I purchased the book on audible and started reading it on 4/23. It’s 4/24 and let’s just say I couldn’t stop listening! I finished the book in less than 24hrs. It was such a good book and filled with a lot of great stories that I could relate to. I can’t believe this is her first book. I definitely recommend this book. I cried, and I laughed. Amazing job Danni! I look

Life changing....
Let me start off by saying I am not a book reader at all. Last book I read was at least 15 years ago. I just had to get the book but I also did not want to wait for shipping either so I decided to try the audio version. Best choice I made. I don't know how I found the 3.5 hours to listen in one sitting but I did! It just went so fast! Danni told her story as if she was sitting right next to you. You could feel the emotions, pain, laughter, anger! I could relate on so many levels and then there are the ones you can not relate to but it gives you such empathy for others who can! I can really say it was life changing and sure makes me want to do better! Even if you think you are doing great I guarantee you will feel like you can do just a little bit better. I would recommend this for anyone suffering through the difficult emotions of life just life, but especially if you are going through divorce, hurt, postpartum depression, or just feeling lost. You will laugh you will cry and you will get angry right along with her. Way to go Danni can't wait to read the next one!

Entertaining & inspiring essays
Danni Starr is so relatable and easy to root for, and her collection of essays made me fall even more on love with her! As a longtime fan, I appreciated getting to know the different facets of her life that she focused on in each individual essay, but I think even those that are new to her will get a lot out of them.
