Is well worth a listen for yourself.

If you ever wondered about what emotional intelligence is and how to increase yours, this is audio book for you. It's a classic for a reason, and is well worth a listen for yourself or to better understand a loved one or friend who seems to have lower emotional intelligence.

I'd say this one has it all.

I'd say this one has it all. It's really well structured and provides a fantastic overview of NLP. The writing is lucid and easily understood, even though there are some heavy concepts that are being dealt with.

Has lots of exercises to guide and help you become aware of what makes you susceptible to emotional outbursts so you can learn to better manage your emotions. I really like the easy listening and it's well explained.

It was wonderful to have my eyes opened.

When I first listen to this book, it was wonderful to have my eyes opened to emotional intelligence. He uses scientific data from studies based on brain imaging technologies that yield an interesting understanding of how emotions operate in the brain.

Learning about submodalities was also very useful.

Learning about submodalities was also very useful, and acquainting emotions I am very sure of with visualizations. These days I am getting hardcore into visualizing as a way to pump up my motivation levels on a daily basis, which has doubled my productivity so far – so this is a good book if you’re doing anything similar with your life.

Great audio book about how to be more emotionally intelligent and how true success is more predicated on being emotionally intelligent than just being intelligent. How emotional intelligence leads to more personal growth and true lasting successes in life.

Painfully simplistic; I will be returning this

Are you worried about the past? Let it go...we all make mistakes!

Ugh.

Am I exaggerating? Yes...barely. Those examples aren't verbatim but they're not all that far off and they reflect about the depth that the book seems to reach. I made it about 53 minutes into the book and gave up.

This book reads like a high school kid's book report. Not recommended.

Good topic to read!

This book covers a portion of the immortal standards and techniques for control that have been utilized on people in general and it is a power wellspring of data that can be utilized to secure yourself or friends and family. Those who want to learn about the darker aspects of psychology and too many people live their life on instinct alone, repeating simple routine and compensating for the lack. It helped me understand my life.

Useful book

The most valuable part of this book is the toolbox and all the exercises that create opportunities for meaningful self-reflection. The author has used simple language to explain this term as it becomes easy for even a common man to understand it. Starting to see real results, which is encouraging. I highly recommend this book.
