There Sal and Asa stumble upon a gang of girls headed by another exile - a young witch everyone in Elysium believes to be dead. As the apocalypse looms, seven girls and one demon will use their gifts to create a cavalry of magic-powered scrap-metal horses to ride to Elysium's aid. But they must do more than simply tip the scales in Elysium's favor. Only by reinventing the rules can they beat Life and Death at their own game.

Love the characters!
The story line kept a good pace and I was never trudging along to get to the good part. I really liked how well the characters were described. I felt like their personalities shone through and brought so much to the book. This was a delightfully surprising and entertaining book. Thanks Kate Pentecost, I’ll be reading “That Dark Infinity” and look forward to what you come up with next!!

Brilliant book
this is probably my favorite fantasy release this year so far - exactly what I had been wanting more of, Western inclusive fantasy with awesome characters & story! definitely worth picking up! I actually slowed my speed down to enjoy it longer!
