Publisher's summary

In Los Angeles, where lights burn brighter and stars don’t just glisten in the sky, the Sharks are a family who inspire awe and respect—especially with the announcement that they’re building the most ambitious skyscraper on the downtown scene. Even in the land of the glamorous and the jaded, excitement runs high as The Edge starts to rise in its glistening glory.

But success carries a price, as everyone in this sweeping, suspenseful saga must learn. Boundaries are tested, souls are opened, passions are unlocked…enemies are confronted. Every story brings a journey of scandals, a ride of revelations, and a push to the very limits of what hearts can endure—until every character learns fate’s biggest lesson of all.

The edge is just the beginning.

All the feels

Loved this ! All the feels. Only note was I’m not totally loving how the “hormonal surges” of the women are being depicted. Not all women lose their mind and turn into irrational crybabies. But I digress. I still loved it!

Amazing story and narration

Elijah's Need is the 9th book in the Shark's Edge series and it is Elijah and Hannah's third and final book.

Just when I thought this series couldn't get any better, the author went and exceeded my expectations!
I'm going to try and review this without giving too much away!

This book was intense, to say the least, It picks up where book 8 left off and had my head spinning. I can't believe Elijah could do such a thing, but after he explains the whole story I got a better understanding and it kind of shines a light on why he is the way he is. His upbringing was heartbreaking and dark and it really shaped him into the man he is today.

Hannah is still struggling with Elijah's dominant side and they are both struggling with trust issues... But the love between these two is strong. Is it strong enough to overcome all these hurdles though?

While there is still so much going on for Elijah and Hannah and their relationship. There are still people out to hurt the group of friends and we start to get more answers to who it may be.

I am still loving the secondary characters in this series as much as the main and I hope to see more of them!

This book was a page-turner. The characters are so easy to fall in love with and the detailing is always so on point, Ms. Blue has a way with words that paint a story in my head so easy to get lost in... It was suspenseful, addictive, and full of passion and heat!

I had already read the book before listening to it so I knew what to expect going in. The narration brought this story to life even more. I am not new to Teddy Hamilton's work, but I must say that this is some of his best work! Teddy as Elijah is perfection... He made it easy to fall into the story and fall even more in love with Elijah. I've only listened to Jo Raylen once before and that was with the book before this one. I think she makes a perfect Hannah, her voice, the tone of her voice and just how she delivered her was incredible. I was lost in the story like it was my first time reading it! I thoroughly enjoyed this and will be going back and listening again.
