Some beautiful prose for some very unimpressive characters

Aciman can write, that’s for sure. But in this very long winded novel, he paints some very uninteresting characters who are adults but easily sound like teenagers. I could not relate to them or their “angst”, and found myself rolling my eyes at them whenever they tried to seem profound. Sadly, I was more excited when the novel ended than listening to it.

Boring, boring, boring

Absolutely hated this book. I only listened to about half as it was driving me crazy. Definitely the worst book choice for me!
