I lovebthe narrator, I love the series can't wait to finish the only thing it's the repeating of the facts in every book besides that really good

Am I missing something?

Is there another book between this one and Broken Blade? Because it keeps mentioning this that seemed to have happened but I don't remember from any of the other books

Kit and Justin and...

This book was close to the best in the series so far. I say close bc they are all excellent!
I'm very bummed there is only 1 more book in the series, on audible anyway!
This book and series were free, sort of, for me due to my membership but if they were not free, all except book 1, I would have used credits. I say all but book 1 only bc it being free was initially what led me to give it a try.
I love the characters in this book, in the last book I looked insane yelling at Damon! Yelling quietly but still! And when Kit was held captive it brought me to tears in some scenes while others made me want to be her support and help if possible. The characters are very "human" by that I mean flawed; good, bad, etc. They have many facets.
So, in closing, both this book and more so this series are definitely worth reading!

Say what- with that ending

That ending was insane!!! Kit is putting her life back together again, her relationship is back in track after much prodding in her part, but I can understand Damon’s reticence after her trauma, but also Kits desire to move in now that she’s healing.
Justin and her are hired to find missing shifters and vampires and to also break a few out of that horrible hospital we heard about. This book is about moving forward, betrayal, redemption, loyalty, and surprises b

I have loved this series so far

I have enjoyed this series so far. They keep you on your toes. I was with most series, the further you get in on the number of book you are reading, the less excitement it starts to hold. I started to feel that from this book compared to the first two. I will continue to read the series because I do still enjoy it but I'm hoping for a little more excitement in the next one.

Angry

Ok so I fell in love with this series and cheering on the romance that’s been swaying between Kit and the cat (kitcat). However, I was so angry when JC wrote the plot for Kit to repeat the very same thing that tore her apart in the last book (her inability to talk to Damon about the case) and break apart kitcat again.
I use audio books to relax after a frustrating day but this action only made me angry. I had to shut it off and wait to go back to this book until I could listen without getting angry at the sheer stupidity of repeating one’s actions and expecting a different outcome. That’s the very definition of insanity.
Overall though, I love the series. Thanks JC and can’t wait for more.
