Publisher's summary

Earl Hebner used hard work and determination to become the most recognizable officiating name in professional wrestling, if not "the greatest of all time." Starting in Virginia as ring crew, he gained the respect of Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair, going on to referee NWA's biggest events. Then, in front of 33 million fans, Earl debuted on WWF's most-watched event ever as the evil twin ref who stole Hulk Hogan's title. As WWE senior official, he played an integral part in "The Montreal Screwjob", calling an unplanned controversial finish that screwed Bret Hart out of his championship for real. For four decades, he worked with the biggest names and banners everywhere, including TNA: Impact and AEW. Read The Official Story now!

Using virtual voice, I did not like. Mispronouncing, WWE and AEW Was very frustrating

Did not like the ai reading. I don't like hearing books of no. Emotion, I rather hear someone. Read it themselves if it's not the author

AI reading is just awful

The story was good but the AI reading was terrible. So many words mispronounced or just wrong. Made me say many times what? Until I figured out what/who it was talking about. Calling AEW ewe and the legendary JR jr? Just awful

Was the Montreal screwjob a work?

Earl Hebner, who will be best remembered as the referee for the infamous Montreal screwjob, has many great wrestling stories in his official story. Hebner shares his side of the what happened in Montreal, when the departing Bret "The Hitman" Hart was screwed out of the WWF title in front of the stunned Canadian fans, and a large pay-per-view audience. Hebner also address the many conspiracy theories associated with the Screwjob finish. Was it all an elaborate work?

Hebner is honest in his official story tell out book, praising those he enjoyed working with, but also calling out those he didn't. Hebner tells how the twin referee angle with his identical brother involving Hulk Hogan happened. He also discusses the notorious "Plane Ride From Hell" episode, from his perspective. Hebner a shares his memories on the night Owen Hart tragically fe;l to his death during a WWE live event.

Hebner also shares the full story on his WWE firing, and turning down an opportunity to return and receiving an induction into the WWE hall of fame. Hebner talks about why he didn't originally want to go to TNA, and what ultimately made his change his mind. Trust me, this is a must have wrestling book!
