He was also a father, a husband, and more important, someone who never gave up and never stopped chasing his dreams. DMX was a realistic and phenomenal person. Gone too soon. This book is one of the best reads so far about a celebrity’s bio.

DMX NEEDS ANOTHER BOOK. I NEED TO KNOW MORE!

The Reader. His imitation of DMX voice is disrespectful and made it hard to listen. He got the growl undertone correct once and for a second. Never the cadence.

Listen When Being Called

This is one of my favorite books. I can read/listen to this over and over. It's relatable and motivational. Share it with whomever you come across.

Now I understand DMX so much better!

This book offered insight into the life of DMX, it allows the reader to understand his life, journey & struggles. While there was a lot of vulgarity in terms of the language, it’s understandable because that’s just unapologetically DMX. While X is no longer with us, my heart is saddened, but I’m glad he had the opportunity to live his dream. This was a great read, or should I say a great listen 😀
