Bravo! My kinda woman!

Well, written. Funny at times. Reflective points. Poignant. Just a good fun read. I'm hooked on the whole alphabet!

Have to read them all! A good one.

Another good one in the series. Her latter ones are better with more twists and turns, but the beginning ones are also a good read. A must buy if you want to follow the story.

Another good book in a great series

I started with A is for Alibi and I'm working my way through the series. The characters are gaining more depth and I'm enjoying each book more than the last. This was my favorite so far. Lots of big plot twists. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

Solid story, weak performance

This Kinsey Millhone is one of the tidier and faster-paced of the series so far. Strong secondary characters help paint in some of her backstory and explain her disposition.

However, (like others have said of the audiobook series so far), Mary Peiffer’s performance is just simply a mismatch for the character. She sounds vaguely engaged the entire time, too tight and flat for any emotion to really come across.

A good listen and a solid entry in the series, but be advised of the lackluster vocal performance.

Another Good Letter

This is another good detective mystery. I prefer this narrator to the other that narrates several books in this series.

Multiple Readers

Very good. Just wish they would use multiple readers instead of one for more authenticity.

My favorite passages!

I love the Kinsey Milhone series. This has my favorite passages about Rancho Finestein and McDonald's hot fruit pies! I had been looking for those two passages, but it's not something you can Google. Now I just need to find the story where Kinsey gets her hair done by an investment savey Hooker.
