could have been better

This book had so much potential but the writer did not executed well.

The story is good but it could have been so much better.

Dreams by the shadows was beautiful and I loved every moment of it. I was sucked in so quickly and I just couldn’t stop, I did the audio book and the voice actors were so beautiful. The Shadow Bringers voice was so intoxicating so beautiful I loved his voice.

While it wasn’t listed this book also gave me howls moving castle vibes in certain moments and I was giggling and kicking my feet.

Esmer and Bringer have my heart and I am rooting for my favorite shadow couple I cannot wait for book two I’m so hooked beyond belief it’s not funny.

I highly recommend Dream by the shadows!

unique world and great story

I think this was a lot of fun, great focus on building a story that revealed the world through natural interactions of people. I wish I got to see more of the unique dream universe that she hints at but I feel that adds to the wonder Esmer is feeling too.
