One of Howard’s best

Start to finish this is one of Susan Howard’s best books. The characters are well developed and engaging making them easy to picture. The story is well crafted and satisfying. It’s one book I’ll willingly reread.

Awesome plot and storyline. Couldn’t stop listening to the book. Linda Howard is an amazing writer.

Can you have a perfect hard headed, no nonsense, stubborn man? If so, then Dane is your man. I love him and Marlie. That epilogue will forever live rent free in my heart.

Good story.

I’ve read this book several times. This is the first time I’ve listen to audio. I don’t mind the man’s voice, but he does portray the woman is whiny. I’ve noticed this before with men when they take on a woman’s voice sometimes it becomes whiny. I find that just a bit offensive. I’ve read several books that have both male and a female, which is my preference.
