Kendrick and Maeve

The second book in the Shifter Nation: Enchanted Over Forty series. Kendrick Alexander, a 600-plus-year-old dragon shifter, and Maeve, a wolf shifter and grandmother. Their story truly held my interest and kept me listenig to their story. The story is exceptionally well written, featuring a compelling storyline and great, memorable characters. I was particularly pleased with the happy ending, which was very satisfying. I enjoyed listening to D C Cole narrate their story.

Never too old

I am really enjoying Meg Ripleys series with older characters. It brings a new aspect to romance.

Rick Westbrook moved to be closer to his son for family and to be near his granddaughter. Carol Donovan has also lost her significant other years ago and picked up to move with her daughter. Neither of them expected to meet and have a chance at a second love in their lifetime.

I love the obsticles they work through to get to their HEA. The outside angst working against them and the pack in town. This is a heartwarming story that I couldn't put down.

I loved it.

I love Meg Ripley's stories with older characters. Probably because I am close to that age now. But the inner dialogue the characters have regarding starting a new relationship at their age is so believable. It is what I would have if I was in their shoes. The feelings between the characters is heartfelt. Great story.

Enjoyable Shifter Story

This shifter story had an imaginative plot and some interesting characters. There was also enough action to hold my attention throughout the book. I really liked the addition of the Gargoyles in the church. It was definitely a clever and entertaining twist in the plot. Having the main characters be seniors with more maturity and experience was a nice touch, too. As always, D. C. Cole's narration was spot on, adding life to a fun read.

I absolutely loved this book. The narration is very good and I especially love the characters andthe layout. I totally love the twist and turns and surprises this book took and especially love the gargoyles.
