Great Set

I had previously listened to the second and third audiobooks in this series- Royal Dragon's Protector and Royal Dragon Daddy- and really enjoyed them. I was so glad to get the opportunity to listen to this set as I could listen to the beginning. Great world building and wonderful characters. I really enjoyed the premise of these stories. The first book, Dragon's Royal Guard, actually became my favorite in the series, and Kaylee my favorite heroine. Each of the four stories are a little different, and all were fun. (Please note, I didn't read or listen to the series Daddy Dragon Guardians)

Elle Sonali did a good job narrating this series. She did okay with the male voices, but of course was great with the female voices. I also liked her wizard voices.

I'll rate this as a set, but I'll also add my original reviews for the two audiobooks I previously listened to below.

Overall: 4 stars

Review Royal Dragon's Protector

I enjoyed this book. Good world building. I really enjoyed the fantasy setting opening with the evil tyrannical wizard. I was into it enough It felt a little jarring at first when it changed to modern time because I wanted to stay where I was lol I really liked Nora. Her cheerful and positive attitude warmed me to her right away. When she catches her boyfriend cheating on her and she tries to leave after confronting him and he gets physically violent, I really disliked that- in spite of her shock- she made no move to fight back despite being a dragon and I would think stronger or as strong as him. She needed a man to save her. I also hated that she didn't want to report him, or press charges- which I notice happens in other romance books, too for some reason. I listened to a couple other Meg Ripley audiobooks, but those had bear shifters. So a dragon shifter book was nice.

I listened to this audiobook narrated by Elle Sonali. She spoke clearly and I loved her voice for Nora. I also like her voices for the wizards in the beginning. Her voice for Kieran was okay.


Review Royal Dragon Daddy

I really enjoyed this book. I started the series with the previous book and really enjoyed it. Good world building. I loved the characters. Finn and Aurora made a good match and both were drawn to each other from the start. But while she knew he was a dragon, he didn't know she was fae. She was in a tough spot because the wizards were threatening and enslaving her people- including her father- in their hunt for the dragons. She needed to save them, but didn't count on falling for Finn or his infant son.

I listened to this audiobook narrated by Elle Sonali. I liked her in the last book and really liked her here. I like her tone of voice and thought she was excellent for the female characters. The males weren't that good. They just sounded like women with a little bit of a deeper voice. But I didn't mind because I liked her overall.

ROYAL DRAGONS WITCH; Elliot and Sibyl. Hes a dragon prince and shes the daughter of the wizard bent on distroying the dragons.
Great world building and telling of their history.

Great Boxed Set!

This is a great boxed set. The stories are entertaining, and the world building is captivating. I liked the action, and the twists and turns. Elle Sonali did a great job bringing the stories to life. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A good Series

I enjoyed the world Meg Ridley has created. From wizards, fae, dragons, magic and portals this series has it all. This collection has four short books. Elle Sonali did a good job narrating. Kudos to both Meg and Elle for jobs welll done.
