Publisher's Summary

When the formidable power of Jessa Lebron's mark was unleashed during her impulsive foray into Vanguard, the American supernatural prison, she learned the truth. She's a dual shifter: wolf and, as an added bonus, dragon - of the fluffy persuasion. Yep, she's one special cupcake. Now, pursued by the Four, powerful hunters of the dragon marked, she has no choice but to run. At least she has her impossibly gorgeous and infuriating best friends by her side, the Compass quads. Not only are they powerful and hella useful in a fight, most of the time they're also semi-entertaining too. With only one month left until the supposed resurrection of the dragon king, this pack will find out soon enough what happens in the world of the dragon mystics.

Awesome series!

Wow, so glad I found this. Haven't enjoyed a series this much in a while. Definitely one you will want to listen to. The narrator is excellent and the story is gripping! A+!

love this series 💘

was so happy to see that this series was finally put on audio!! Jaymin Eve is one of my absolute favorite authors and i don't have many that have made the list for i am very picky. In fact she's the only the second author that I've loved so much that I just had to tell the world how great she is by leaving a review. I'm not one for spoilers but i will tell you that you will NOT be disappointed.

A Badass Story all the way

Jaymin has done it! An absolute, heart wrenching, seat edged, blood pumping and action packed story. I love the Compass quads and Jessa. Mischa is a mess, but she will have to learn from her mistakes and a lesson in loyalty. 😊🤓📚❤️️

Loved it

Totally love the story line. The only thing i can say bad about it is that it is short but im glade that it is a trilogy and a story continues with Max.

Jaymin and Dara are a dream team

My emotions are still on the rollercoaster ride that was Dragon Mystics. What a fantastic continuation of Dragon Marked! So many new revelations in this one. The romance. The betrayal. The new worlds. The romance. The action. The romance. This book was HOT, but the romance didn't take away from the storyline at all. On the contrary, it was necessary to the suspense of it. Now, forgive me for the short review, but I must start Dragon Mated IMMEDIATELY!

Great Sequel

Mystics picks right up where Marked left off: Jessa's power has been unleashed, and now, she's on the run, pursued by the Four, quad-hunters/psychopaths in pursuit of the dragon marked. But she's got her Compass boys with her, gorgeous and entertaining as always (and Jessa begins to realize her growing attraction to a certain boy...). And, of course, she's got her badass dual-shifter power. After all, who wouldn't want to be part dragon!?

We learn more about the quads as their role in the rise of the king becomes clear. Max is having some struggles and we are introduced to his new mate. Tyson definitely has some issues going on with the very cute witch Grace. Steady Jacob remains the joking jackass that he's been since the start. And I was so glad that Louis's role continues to be part of the story.

The tricky Louis sends the group on a merry chase, ensuring that they ultimately land in the Sanctuary, a supernatural oasis for the dragon marked. Unfortunately, this place comes with its own drama (spoilers ahead). The Mystics are a sycophantic group of lunatics, hell-bent on aiding the Dragon King's rising. Jessa and Misha's twin-counterparts are half-part psycho, all-part manipulative bitches.

The twists in this book were not quite as unexpected as the first, but still were good overall.

Such a good series.

Jessa finally did the deed with her mate. This series keeps growing and you'll meet the same characters who were in the previous book plus lots of new ones in each books. So now the King is alive. They got to help save Jessa. Now on to book 3 for me.

Cliff hanger

I enjoyed this book. I think the author did a very good job and did not fall into the trap of lazy writing. I strongly dislike cliff hanger books and movies but I can forgive it when the next book or movie is ready.

Always illogical elements buts otherwise good

spoilers !!!

don't get me wrong, I like this genre. even if all the clichés are there.
But there is one thing I just wish all of these authors would pay more attention to and that is the logic of the certain aspects of the story.
in this case, what's worse not fulfilling a promis to help made under false pretences just because you are superstitious or at best helping two evil twins get their hands on something that will help free the guy who wants to kill all sups? yeah I would have taken a chance with not holding up my promis.
second, they threaten Misha saying they can't guarantee her safety if Jessa doesn't go but at that point everyone still believes that the marked are immortal and they need Misha to free the DK so if Jessa had just said no then , ok there would have been no story, but it would have been impossible for the twins to free the DK.
what JE should have done was have the twins use that knife and spell on Jessa's parents but only a small cut meaning they would die slowly. Lewis would try to save them but wouldn't be able to and the twins would say that if they didn't want their parents to die they would come to the prison and do what they say. it would also guarantee that they would have a way out alive.
would have made much more sense.

also to start with Lewis sent them there because all dragon marked needed to be their WHEN the DK rose or else they would die. but as he can't rise without Jessa, they should have gotten away from their the moment they got out of fairy. sure the 4 were still around but Lewis seems powerful enough to hide them for a week. just give them the clocking spell. plus do glamours Not exist in this world. I can't believe that a wizard that powerful can't change the appearance of people. so you change the appearance hide the magic and voilà.
but I suppose there would be less of a story.

My favourite author and narrator combination

I am a big Jaymin Eve fan but had not got round to reading this series so when I saw the audiobook I jumped at the chance to listen to it as I was just not getting time to read the book and I really wanted to

The story is excellent, I was not sure what to expect but it is pure brilliance, and I love the relationship and chemistry between the main characters. Add in the brilliant narration by a favourite of mine Dara Rosenberg who really brings life to the story and you have an awesome audiobook which I highly recommend

Awesomeness

I love Dragon Mystics wow it's about time that Jessa and Braxton get together omg how hot is it whew (fanning myself) ;) but i am so sad for Misha i do hope she has a happy ending too and Jacob i hope he finds his true mate as well and Louis :D now lets talk about this awesome book, all i can say is its fast paced, thrilling, addictive and funny as hell, our heroine is a kick ass smart mouth dragon/wolf shifter, how awesome is that and she is surrounded by all the hotness of her pack the compass boys ;) thanks Jaymin you are amazing. Dara Rosenberg i am now one of your biggest fan, you are an excellent narrator omg, you portrays all the characters uniquely, you make me feel all their emotions and that is not easy to do, you rock thank you. Love you both Jaymin and Dara xox
