Finally we get our first look at the place where magic users can go to be safe… but just like every where on Zora, it has its problems and secrets. Hector and Emilia were amazing characters and I am still reeling at the twist and have so many questions. I hope we get Marcus’ book next because there is some questions I have about his part too. Also, I just wanna shine a spotlight on this interactions between Con and Rhi. So many times they can be overlooked in the other King’s books, but they really are the base around the foundation of the Kings. This book showed that and I loved every moment of it.

Excellent paranormal story

Ms Grant keeps coming up with new plots that are so full of adventure & romance. This is really different than other Kings books. Highly recommend. Great narration.
