this was by far one of my favorite books from Donna Grant. very sweet an amazing love story

Hidden past… uncertain future.

I was introduced to this author as a part of the Audible Escape package. This book was purchased as both and eBook and audiobook. Claimed is #14.5 in the Dark King series; which is a part of the greater Dark World. Characters from previous books appear and longer subplots are formed and beginning to build.

Gemma is the sole survivor of a family that has a magical destiny. She is running and hiding from something she doesn’t know or understand… then she hits Cinaed. He knows who she and is so struck by her beauty….. The two dive into finding answers to her past and find a future together.

As with all Donna Grant books in the Dark World series once you get in… it is hard to get out.

Loved how a lonely girl found love, magic and answers and the connection with her ancestors!
I enjoyed listening to this story very much!

Dragons!!!! Tragedy to romance! Sweet romance story with a tragic background. The characters are likable and interesting. The narrators did a good job!

I got this book in Audible and enjoyed listening to it. It was the first book about the dragon kings that I got. I will be getting the others later. In this one Gemma left all alone on the island she was living with her parents and brother disappeared one stormy night. Now years later she has changed her name and moved on. But when Cináed, a dragon king, is drawn to her story he tracks her down. The secrets are on both sides. Will they be able to trust each other? And who wants to destroy her?

Gotta Read!!!!!!

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This book was totally amazing just as I knew it would be. Gemma has had a very lonely life and thought she didn't need anyone. Cinaed finds a picture of a little girl that touches something inside him. He needs to find the women she has become. After she runs into Cinaed (literally) Gemma realizes maybe she wants more then her solitary life. Cinaed and Gemma work together to find out about Gemma's past. And realize they needed each other more than they thought.

Love series

I love this entire series he can’t be over I need more! I need Constantine books on audio!

Very enjoyable

I always love a romance when there are dogs involved. This was a really good story, very like able characters and those you love to hate. Great narration by Antony Ferguson.

OMG I love this book 📖!

This book is just amazing 👏. I love Cináed. He is just a nice men. I also love Gemma. She really loves him and welcome their love. I thought she was going to be a complicated woman because of her past, but no she just knows what wants, and goes direct for it. I just love her 😍 she is strong. I am glad she is with Cináed and let him help her. also I happy she let him in her life. They are perfect together, and their love is just beautiful 😍. Usaeil is not a good person, how can she do what she did . I am utterly out of words. I hope they stop her soon before she does more damage. This book is just awesome 👌 👏.

Another 5 Star Dragon Kings novella by Donna Grant! Anthony Ferguson of course performed another 5 Star narration bringing to life the amazing characters. Don't miss this one because it is a novella. I'd say this one holds critical background information for the books to come. A wonderful listen as well as a wonderful book.
