Loved the adventure in the story. The only complaint I have is the attempt at romantic interactions. I only hope it doesn't increase. I feel it's too forced.

I have burst out laughing at Brax’s sarcastic wit a number of times. Carmen, the main character is very dim. Her self awareness is very low, which leaves me face palming on multiple occasions.
The story/series is engaging.
The narrator, Clare Corbett, does an excellent job with voices, so when a new voice enters, you know who it is, without the author saying so.
