Hope and love

I was glad to see so many people gave their light bulb moment and change their small minds and not be so biased . Perhaps there is hope after all ! I floved Mark and Jason and their story left ne with goosebumps and a huge smile. The narrator did a good job. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review.

Low angst friends to lovers

This was a pretty low angst listen with a friends to lovers vibe. I wish it was a little more developed and we got to see the other characters more and a little more of their relationship develop. Also the ending was rushed and just jumped and fixed everything into a happy little bow. Overall it wasn't a bad listen just nothing great and could have been better. Narration was done ok.

Great story and hot romance

This book was sizzling erotic romance. Great writing and solid story. The author really delivers!

Good story (low angst), good pace, and entertaining characters. I liked that Mark stepped up, did the right thing and stood up for Jason.

Gabriel Amari is a new narrator for me, I found him easy to listen to, but at times the narration was a little flat and I did lose track of who was speaking occasionally.

Paging Dr. Hotties!

Dr. Perfect is about St. Vincent's Jason and Mark, who at times work closely together as doctors. They've established a working relationship and even considers the other a friend, despite their differences. Jason is gay, and he is also out and proud; he comes from a lower class family and isn't close to him parents, despite the fact that he send them a lot of money all while he's eating ramen. He has always had to work really hard for everything he’s achieved. Mark on the other hand, is not out, is favored at the hospital with the administrative staff, comes from a wealthy background and although he loves his work and works just as hard, he doesn't have to put a whole lot of effort to prove himself, he's already admired by everyone, especially Jason. The two men have the hots for one another and want more than just friendship, they just don't know it yet. So when there's flirtation (drunken albeit) at the New Year’s party, Mark and Jason then realize that they don't care about how different they are, they want each other, the chemistry is there and it's hot! When a very serious incident occurs, Jason is placed on leave while being investigated, and that's when Mark's commitment and loyalty is tested.

This was my first listen from Gabriel Amari and he did good. My only feedback is that maybe differentiate between the MCs, there were times I was lost between the two. It wasn't a huge turn off but I did notice it but all in all, I think he did a good job.

I enjoy Peter Styles' sweet mm romance stories. They have a good amount of drama, emotion, love and sweetness that it hooks you. In short, it had a great story line, characters that promised growth and real life emotions; Dr. Perfect was perfect! Happy listening all!

Falling for a Co-worker

Dr. Perfect is a tale of two resident physicians. They work well together, a d make an excellent team.

A supervising doctor chooses to favor one doctor over the other based on social values. The story is fiction, but the situations can happen in a lot of workplaces.

The residents doctors find that not only
do they make a great work team, they also would make great relationship pair... if only other people's expectations would quit getting in the way!

Narrator Gabriel Amari is new to me. His voice and pacing makes for easy listening, and exciting, fearful, distressed moments feel realistic. The HEA was delightful.

Wow!

What a wonderful story with all the angst you expect but a twist storyline got thrown in , so good!!

Mark and Jason

Excellent friends to lovers story. Mark and Jason, BFFs, partners in crime, tennis every week and residents at the hospital. Jason's taken for granted when he's in Mark's presence. There is jealousy and frustration. Jason though makes Mark a stronger man. I loved it when Mark stood up to his supervisor about his behavior towards Jason, how he protected him while he was hurting and mostly how he grew strong enough to claim Jason as his own. There are some really tender, sweet moments, plenty of spicy ones and a few laughs.

Audiobook: Decent pace and good clarity. The beginning is a bit monotone but it abates and I didn't feel that it detracted from my enjoyment.

Enjoyable Coming Out Story

The narrator did a good job creating individual voices for each character. I had no trouble following along with the dialogue.

I'm always so excited when an author can successfully tell a detailed story and include incredible sex scenes. Often you get one or the other. Peter Styles has written such a gem.

Mark and Jason are residents at a teaching hospital who have been inseparable for the last year and a half. Jason is openly gay and made an effort to hide his attraction to Mark (who he believed to be straight). Mark is deeply in the closet and afraid of what his family would think if they were to ever find out. He has secretly harbored feelings for Jason, He did this so well it takes Jason awhile to believe his feelings and actions are genuine.

The story of the two of them acknowledging what everyone else at the hospital has suspected is sweet and heartwarming. I thoroughly enjoyed this low angst HEA.

Superb story written by a great author!

Excellent read, or should I say listen! I'm not going into anything about the story as I personally detest spoilers! Instead
I'll let you read more the book for your enjoyment. The two narrator's were very good! I enjoy listening to a book where there is an actual change of voices for each character. I hope that this book turns into a series of books as the author is very good and a source of books through which we hear of different characters who work at the Vanderbilt Hospital and not just the ED! All in all I cannot wait for a second book and a third ...................! Keep up the good work meantime!!!!!!!!!
