Hot and spicy
This story had two genetically modified men (they were in the last book as the ones sent to kill the last books hero) paired with a female slave who was sent to jail for not eating a pie (true story) now they are contestants in a race for life with sadistic announcer trying to kill them. It’s actually very entertaining and spicy in part and pulls at your heartstrings in others . Worth a credit

Exciting story
This book was filled with plenty of action and romance. That darn announcer should be made to compete in the games; she is the perfect villain. The narrators did a great job with characters. Wish an explanation had been offered for why Willow was sent there. Looking forward to the next installment.

Interesting premise
Actually good writing, the narrarator did great with the sparky commentator we were supposed to hate but the MFC just sounded whiny and annoying despite surviving essentially the plot of death race meets alien vs. predator. All around a fun listen, not sure I'll listen to the rest but solid 8/10 I'd say
