Publisher's summary

A war was brewing within our borders.

Not a war with weapons, but one with words.

Until now. And so it begins....

The entire five-book terrorism thriller series is now available in a single boxed set.

Bobby Akart delivers up-all-night thrillers to listeners in 245 countries and territories worldwide. He has sold over one million books in all formats, which includes over 40 international bestsellers, in nearly 50 fiction and nonfiction genres.

The Doomsday series depicts America on the edge of societal collapse and destined for war.

As the story unfolds, it's New Year's Eve. As the ball drops in Times Square, Americans are preparing for a new year and a bright future. Instead, they find themselves fighting for their lives as the fuse has been lit that sends the country into chaos.

With political rancor at an all-time high, the war of words had escalated, and a political war erupts. Americans are caught in the crosshairs of societal unrest and a shadowy group stoking the fires of discontent burning in America. Words are replaced by weapons as neighbor turns on neighbor, and powerful forces stop at nothing to reshape a nation in turmoil.

America has become embroiled in something more than a clash of ideologies. She now faces a battle in which the blood of patriots and tyrants would be shed.

As Americans struggle to survive, some sought a place of safety where they could ride out the coming storm. However, even if they can overcome the threats confronting them, will they bear witness to an America hell-bent on destroying itself?

This is a story of a nation divided, on the cusp of a second civil war, and what that portends for our future. Remember, all empires collapse eventually, and America will be no exception.

Written before the last election

I thought this book would be off because of how history has changed a bit but I really enjoyed this book and wish that parts of it were true. Not the violence but other things.

Riveting

This is the second series of books I have listened to from Bobby Akart. I had a difficult not listening to them in one sitting.

Loved it

I appreciate how reality based concepts and possibilities were made into a fictional story with interesting, relatable & likable characters to teach and entertain the reader.
I'm going to buy another series now! Thanks for your good works!

Good but Bobby has done better.

I liked the series well enough but have liked some of Bobby’s other series better.
I liked Chris’ narration and thought he did a good job.

“Meh”

I really wanted to like this book…love the premise. The author took character development to a new high—way beyond what I cared to learn about the individuals. The narrator was mediocre at best, often leaving me wondering whether it was a man, woman, or child speaking—there was so little distinction between them. After listening to Ray Porter, RC Bray, or other truly talented narrators, this one left so much to be desired. I couldn’t make it past the halfway mark.

Riveting

The author did his due diligence and got the facts right. It was hard to put the books down. Definitely worth reading. The audio book reader was one the best too.

we are on opposite sides, but I still like your writting.

I see that Bobby Akart is probably a part of MAGA. What he is writing about basically is a takeover of the American people. It is all political and it is written backwards. Democracy is on the line and democracy falls. I wish Bobby Akart could see this series through my eyes, he would be appalled.
