Very good parenting book for moms of young kids

I reaped a lot of biblical wisdom from this book and even bought a physical copy to reference later on. I love that the author gives examples with her explanations so I can better understand. Very few times I felt like her personal opinion slipped into the biblical truths

Great primer on parenting

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author provided Biblical principles and supported them with helpful illustrations and applications.

A great example of how to be a Christian parent

When you haven’t been raised in a Christian home, it’s hard to know how to be a Christian parent later in life. This book offers incredibly relatable and practice examples of scenarios and how to apply scriptures to gently nurture, reprove, and draw your children’s hearts to Christ. I absolutely love the scripture references given in every piece of advice here. It helps act as a personal guide for me.

Can I give this 100 stars??!

I cannot say enough good things about this book. It almost brought me to tears several times as I learned not only the Biblical model for rebuking and reproofing, but understanding things about my own upbringing. This is not a book just for parents of small children or for problem children. It’s for ALL parents and ALL personalities of children of any age. And do yourself a favor, don’t skip the Appendix sections. I thought, “Oh, I have been in church all my life. I teach at a Christian school. I know about these things.” Thankfully I listened because I highlighted almost every.single.word. Please do not skip this book. It is life-changing and will be much more than you expect it to be!

Ginger’s study of the God’s Word as it relates to parenting is seriously a Godsend. It’s convicting, insightful, and so incredibly doable. I’m listening to this for the 3rd time.

Great Tools

I knew raising my kids in the word was important. This book gave me great tools (and the scripture where they’re from) to use for my current and future kids. I even bought her “Wise Words for Moms” that stays on our fridge for quick use!
I can’t wait to go through this again and take notes.

Striving for Excellence

I love this book! I read it for the first time with a print copy last year! This is my second go at it and I just finished it. I now have my husband listening and then I plan to listen for a 3rd time. I have been so blessed by the book as well as Ginger's podcast as we seek to raise our littles in the path of Christ!

Realistic, Practical & Biblical Parenting Approach

It's a genuine, simple and yet point continuously to bible approach. Highly recommend especially for new parents.
