Ally Winter is going through a ruff patch. The 30-something veterinarian lost her fiancé, her clinic, and her savings in rapid succession. Ally has no choice but to team up with Noah - and the irrepressible Roxy - to solve the case while keeping Gramps on a short leash. Ally had better learn some new tricks, lickety-split, because if she can't bring the killer to heel, she won't just be playing dead.

Dogged by death

A great cozy mystery with great characters. Narration was spot on. I can’t wait to see what this series has to offer looks like it might even have some romance. I love all the veterinary information and all the things about dogs. cozy mystery/dog lovers will love it.

Pretty good

Dogged by Death is pretty good but Ally and her granddad can be a bit annoying. Other than that the story is pretty good and I look forward to the next book.

Clever and funny

The narration was amazing as was the plot. I loved grandfather and his tenacious determination to be a crime solver. This is a delightful story!

Great story

This book was wonderful. I’ve read many books by the author & I wasn’t disappointed. It had laughter, a smidge of romance, a feisty grandpa & delightful pets. As soon as I finished I purchased & downloaded book #2. Can’t wait to get started listening to it. Hope there will be many more to come.
