My favorite Doctor Who to date

Bit more violent and grim then the TV show, but it's engaging and true to the characters.

Enjoyed how each of the main characters have an opportunity to shine and rise to the occasion to save themselves and others.

Arthur Darvill does a fabulous job, his creative range with character voices and accents is impressive.

Absolutely the best

I think I've found the best Doctor Who book out there. There are average ones, good ones, and really good ones, but Hunter's Moon is phenomenal. Arthur Darvill is one of the best narrators on Audible, to the point you forget its even Rory's voice. He masters the Doctor's running explanations second only to Matt Smith himself, the lilting tone of Amy's biting comments, and distinct accents for each of the other characters.

Some of the names get a bit confusing, because I think they all start with Z, but I enjoy listening to these books as it saves me the trouble of trying to pronounce them myself.

I couldn't put this story down (figuratively) and after listening to the first two hours over the course of a few days, I listened to the rest of it in one large chunk. Much like the episodes, it grabs you right away and you just have to find out how they get out of their predicament and all come back together right at the end.

I picked up this story because I love the sound of Arthur Darvill's voice and I needed one more book to get the April listening rewards. It is so worth the $13. If you never read another Doctor Who story, read this one. It is by far the best.

Arthur nails it again!

I really enjoy Mr. Darvill's narration of the Dr. Who stories. His interpretation of Matt Smith's Doctor can be a little squeaky at times, but maybe I'm just expecting to hear Matt Smith's voice. He does a bang up job with Amelia's snarkiness however!

Doctor Who stories are the best

I have been listening to Doctor Who books while waiting for the new series to start in a year from now 😓. This book was awesome and sucked my back in time to the 11th Doctor. Arthur Darvill was excellent at the narration and sounded sexy which makes me miss his character Rory in the show even more. The description in this book was excellent and I could easily picture the actors Karen Gillian, Arthur Darvill and Matt Smith acting out this book in my head. Highly recommend this book if you are missing Doctor Who while it's on hiatus.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great narration and excellent story line. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, but Arthur Darvill was beyond fabulous and truly brought the story to life.

awesome story

The story Hunter's Moon read by Arthur Darvill was very very interesting. I found that the story was captivating, Arthur's reading of the story was outstanding especially when he imitated Matt Smith. I wish the story actually was filmed with Matt Smith and Karen Gillan because I believe it would be an awesome story to see on the screen. I only have one question and it's not going to change my rating of the story but I didn't notice that while listening the chapters did not go in sequential order. I found that chapter skipped for example 39 would go straight to chapter 41 no chapter 40. I'm not sure if this is custom for all of all of those books but I did notice that and being this my first book to listen to this is not a slam or put down either the author the narrator or the story is a question that I have for audible. If you do like Dr who this is a great story to listen to it will keep you in suspense the whole way through.
