Absolutely the best
I think I've found the best Doctor Who book out there. There are average ones, good ones, and really good ones, but Hunter's Moon is phenomenal. Arthur Darvill is one of the best narrators on Audible, to the point you forget its even Rory's voice. He masters the Doctor's running explanations second only to Matt Smith himself, the lilting tone of Amy's biting comments, and distinct accents for each of the other characters.
Some of the names get a bit confusing, because I think they all start with Z, but I enjoy listening to these books as it saves me the trouble of trying to pronounce them myself.
I couldn't put this story down (figuratively) and after listening to the first two hours over the course of a few days, I listened to the rest of it in one large chunk. Much like the episodes, it grabs you right away and you just have to find out how they get out of their predicament and all come back together right at the end.
I picked up this story because I love the sound of Arthur Darvill's voice and I needed one more book to get the April listening rewards. It is so worth the $13. If you never read another Doctor Who story, read this one. It is by far the best.

Well done Doctor Adventure
Hold up though. This series has been going on for so long in other incarnations that I can't honestly say this was good enough.
Darvill portrayed the characters very well in this but the story is a middle of the road thing. Not really bad, but nothing I care about either.
If you have an extra credit and have nothing else your considering or saving for I'd say get this as it is a worthwhile adventure for the price, but there are plenty of better Doctor Who things you could spend that 17 dollars on otherwise, like a few episodes of the show instead.

Boring
Any additional comments?
Boring. This one is full of story elements that are predictable, and out-of-date. Humans being hunted for sport, check. Amy in tight clothing, check. Winning streak in gambling then losing it all, check. etc, etc. No I didn't finish the book, as much as I like finishing things. Two chapters left, and I just cannot stand listening to another bit.

Arthur nails it again!
I really enjoy Mr. Darvill's narration of the Dr. Who stories. His interpretation of Matt Smith's Doctor can be a little squeaky at times, but maybe I'm just expecting to hear Matt Smith's voice. He does a bang up job with Amelia's snarkiness however!

Doctor Who stories are the best
I have been listening to Doctor Who books while waiting for the new series to start in a year from now 😓. This book was awesome and sucked my back in time to the 11th Doctor. Arthur Darvill was excellent at the narration and sounded sexy which makes me miss his character Rory in the show even more. The description in this book was excellent and I could easily picture the actors Karen Gillian, Arthur Darvill and Matt Smith acting out this book in my head. Highly recommend this book if you are missing Doctor Who while it's on hiatus.
