Divine Proportion

This is another “filler” book, one without a case of the week, but it’s also important. The focus this time is mainly on Seong-Jae’s past and his relationship with his family. At this point, the guys have been partners for about a year and together for about 6 months. Still in LA on temporary duty, Malcolm is finally meeting the parents. The whole episode is meaningful and the flashbacks are helpful to not only see Seong-Jae as a teen, but how Sila was toward him. Oh, and that first chapter will get your heart pumping and leave you waiting for the other shoe to drop. Very well done, including the narration by Curt Bonnem.
