Nirel and Jase escape, but arrive in the past injured and far from their destination. A new mission emerges: rescue the prince from the assassination that began the war.

Great acting!

I did not know what to expect from the second installment of Nirel by Sarah Emmer. The story pulls you in right from the start. We meet more characters and get to experience more dimensions.
The writing is beautiful and we see more worldbuilding in book 2.
I want to mention an amazing work of all 3 narrators. I was really impressed with accents and acting.
Great read/listen for fans of high fantasy with complicated plot and extensive worldbuilding.
