I really enjoyed listening to this. I agree with the information in this book and would suggest everyone, men and women, to entertain this one.

I am so thankful for the time it has taken for me to read this book. It has gathered dust on our shelf for 7 years & now I get to breathe life back into it via paperback and audio. My husband read it in 2016 (or started to) and now we are going to read it through together. Prayers as we develop a deep and meaningful relationship and connection with the tools offered here.

This book helped me with a big relationship problem.

I was struggling with a problem and wanted this book to help me understand what the error was: I made a mistake, and instead of properly apologizing like a man, I kept explaining my situation and asking her if our situation could be remedied. This was totally inappropriate of me, and completely selfish. I apologized, addressed her feelings, saw the issue from her point of view, and took responsibility. As if by magic, the problem completely resolved. Thank God for the blessings of Christ.

I like how it brings the Commandments and/ or principles of the Bible into everyday practice.

life-changing read

I wish I would of read this before I got married. amazing read, highly recommended.

Stripped of ego

I listened to this while working and listened to the whole thing in a day. I listened to it a few days later while mowing the lawn and was able to focus better and I got all emotional, wanting to practice this to a woman more than I ever had (I never married). Very good advice here.

Great Book, Hard Practice

Today I tried to Love my Fiancé in a Christ like way and needless to say I missed the mark. She got so overwhelmed she felt the only solution was to opt out. At first I thought that I failed but after closer examination I realized God is blessing me with an opportunity to demonstrate Christ likeness. I feel I being challenged to continue loving selflessly. I don’t know what the future Holds, but I’m confident that I will continue to demonstrate Christ likeness no matter what!

Good read even if...

Even if you wouldn't style yourself an overbearing male stereotype, or that you find your wife annoying, or any of what I'd consider to be typical male stereotypes. I found it rather surprising that the author had so many men that were so unwilling to give up their bravado and ego, and I wouldn't characterize myself as being one of them. yet, even so, there is plenty of insight to be had from reading this book. I'm by no means perfect, and have some self-centered tendencies clinging on to my flesh, so it was nice to be reminded that there's still work to do, even if I feel I'm doing "better" than the worst case scenarios. And the insights into a woman's way of thinking is also nice! I encourage my wife to tell me what's on her mind, but she came from a family where she couldn't do that with the men in her life, so she's not always forthcoming, which makes the insights the author has so much more valuable to me so that I can try to be ever more sensitive to what my wife needs.

Amazing insight

This could have used my relationship as base material. It has given me greater understanding of the extreme differences in the way men and women perceive and process information. Will certainly need to make several more trips through the material to begin to grasp it all. The only negative I have is that the reader came across as scolding and slightly petulant. Not at all the vibe I got from the printed material.
