Fantastic Narration

Both narrators added so much to an entertaining story. I’ve read the book before, but enjoyed the audio version even more.

Well Done, But...

I like when a man and a woman both are used in recording an audio book. But it seems a waste to not have the woman do all the female voices throughout and the man do all the males. When one does all the voices for a chapter or portion of one, the listener must become accustomed to a whole different voice for the next portion. It is less cohesive.

On the other hand, both narrators did well. The story itself was wonderful! I loved how Darcy became the big brother to the younger Bennet sisters.

Delightful

The Darcy/Lydia friendship I never knew I needed. The progression in their understanding of one another and how that translates to the plot was truly enjoyable. The book is well performed and delightful from beginning to end.

I loved Good Lydia. Very rare and very satisfying. Lydia’s intelligence being used for good

Delightful and thoroughly charming

The story was delightful and thoroughly charming. Both narrators were excellent, but I was especially pleased to hear Alex Wyndham on a P&P variation. I’ve heard him on several other audiobooks, most notably stories by Mimi Matthews, and I hope he does more P&P variations.
