Narration

It's so robotic, and cold. Makes it hard for me to follow. It just isn't for me.

The Narrator read this in a way that made no sense

The way that this was narrated was not helpful and made it sort of inaccessible.

So happy I could return this book!

The narration is unbearable. Robotic. The worst audible book I’ve ever had the displeasure of listening to.

I think other reviews are fake

I read the reviews and thought this was a good one. this book is clearly written for a clinician and not for the average person hoping to learn dbt skills. the voice is mechanical and the language used in the book makes it seem like the author was trying to show off their education. the reviews said it was easy to understand? I guess if your a doctor it might be? I just feel like they made everything more complicated than it needed to be. plus that mechanical narrating makes it hard to stay focused.

horrible!

recently diagnosed with BPD and am excited to learn all I can about DBT and basically getting healthy. The lady reading this sounds like she is on drugs - stoned out of her mind. And the guy who wrote it clearly is more impressed with his extensive vocabulary than keeping his content accessible to the average schmo like me. Wish I could get a refund.
